International Dot Day

What:

In 2003, a children’s book entitled The Dot was written and illustrated by Peter Reynolds.  The book is about a little girl who just knows she can’t draw.  Her teacher encourages her to make a mark on the page, even if it is just a dot.  The story shows the transformation that occurs when she begins to explore a possibility.  Our Dot Day celebration will consist of all things “dotty” and will feature art, games, face painting and snacks.
