Insight meditation, mindfulness teachings, and group discussion.
This “sitting group” will explore the works of mindfulness teachers such as Thich Nhat Hanh and the western mindfulness teachers (for example, Jack Kornfield and Gil Fronsdale). We will also draw on resources from midamericadharma.org.
This group provides a place to practice mindfulness meditation and to learn from teachers and each other about the insight we can gain on the mindfulness path.
Bringing a pillow or cushion is recommended. Chairs will be provided.
