Meditation is quiet reflection, going inward in your own body and mind. It doesn't have to be the same for anyone, it should begin to help you with finding awareness in your body, your mental focus, or reducing anxiety, even if only for just a short time afterward. We focus on different themes and techniques at each Meditation gathering.

Need other reasons to try Meditation? It can bring about a relaxation response, which has many of these short-term benefits to the nervous system: - lower blood pressure, heart rate and cortisol levels - improved blood circulation - slower respiratory rate - less anxiety and stress, perspiration - more feelings of well-being - deeper relaxation (can help you ease into sleep)
