Stroke is a leading cause of disability and death in the United States, but up to 80% of strokes can be prevented. This lecture discusses what strokes are, potential sequelae, and most importantly, what steps you can take to reduce your risk of having a stroke. 

Mallory Duncan is an occupational therapist and clinical liaison for The Rehabilitation Institute of Southern Illinois. Mallory received her doctorate of occupational therapy from Washington University and has 10 years of experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation.

Who: Open to the general public. You do not need a library card to participate.
