Iditaread

Each year in March, men, women, and dogs from around the world converge on the state of Alaska to take part in a race known as the Iditarod, a Trail Sled Dog Race.

We will be following the race from Anchorage, Alaska to Nome, Alaska during the month of March. Your challenge is to read 20 minutes for each checkpoint in the race. There are 25 checkpoints for a total of 500 minutes!

The challenge will start on March 1 and last until March 31. Download the reading log on this page or pick one up at the library. There will be prizes along the way and you can earn a FREE stuffed husky dog for completing the challenge and writing a book recommendation.
