SIUE America Reads Tutoring
The library partners with Southern Illinois University Edwardsville to provide free afterschool tutoring for kindergarten through eighth-grade students. The students are recruited and vetted by SIUE and are paid through a federally funded program known as America Reads.
Students may make one appointment per week. We ask that they bring any school assignments they are working on. Tutors are available weekend hours. Tutors can help with all core subject areas, including math, language, social studies, and science. Appointments can be made HERE.

Oasis Intergenerational Tutoring
The library partners with Oasis Institute, a nonprofit educational organization to provide trained and vetted adult reading tutors for students in kindergarten - 3rd grades. Students register for consecutive appointments to build reading and language proficiency.
Oasis tutors are available Mondays - Thursdays. Appointments can be made through the website by going to our event page.
