Library Card Sign-Up Month is an annual campaign in September aimed at encouraging people to get a library card and explore the many benefits libraries offer. It highlights the importance of having a library card and the valuable resources available, from books and digital materials to educational programs and community events.
At O'Fallon Public Library (OFPL), we're celebrating Library Card Sign-Up Month with special incentives! New cardholders are entered into a drawing for an awesome prize, receive an OFPL tote bag, and kids using their own library card at checkout get a special prize.
For our current cardholders (we haven’t forgotten you!), if you come up to any desk and tell us something you appreciate about the library whether it’s the diverse collection, the friendly atmosphere, or the variety of programs, we’d love to hear your thoughts. You’ll also leave with an OFPL tote bag. Take it one step further by bringing in or emailing us a written testimonial about how the library has benefited you, and we’ll enter you into a drawing for a great prize at the end of the month.
